The history of Podole Wielkie goes back to the 15th century. From the beginning of its existence until 1945, the property belonged to German families. It was then taken over by the state and a state-owned farm was created in its place. The change of the political system in 1981, resulted in its current owners managing to lease and then buy the farm in its entirety. The distillery where we create our products has over 150 years of tradition. It has always been an integral part of our homestead. This structure used to be one of many of its kind and their characteristic and distinctive brick chimneys, were easily recognizable elements of the rural Pomeranian landscape. Today, it is one of the few remaining active agricultural distilleries. The history of this place is truly compelling and we are more than appreciative, that we can continue the sterling work, first laid down by our predecessors.
